A man who fled on a mountain after allegedly torching a car is wanted by police.
The arson attack took place on Greenfield Way in Norton, Stockton, on Thursday May 18 sometime between 1.30am and 2.30am.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "A man approached the property from the direction of Junction Road on a mountain bike and set fire to a BMW 4 series on the driveway.

"The fire destroyed the car and caused damage to the front of the house.
"He then fled along Blakeston Lane on his bike."

The man is described as white, around 5ft 9ins, slim build, dressed in dark clothing with a hood or balaclava over his head.
Anyone with information, CCTV or doorbell footage is asked to call 101 quoting reference SE23094985, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
