Pictures have emerged showing the demolition progress of a North East building labelled an "eyesore."
Stockton Borough Council (SBC) have released images on Monday (May 15) showing the progress of the demolition of Phoenix House in Thornaby.
The project is part of the £23.9million Thornaby Town Deal and its removal will enable the creation of a new swimming pool.

The work on the building began this week with an excavator from contractor A. Buckler Ltd completing the works.
The photos showed the building partially demolished with excavators working on the site.
Speaking last month, an SBC spokesperson said: "The demolition of the vacant Phoenix House building in Thornaby is set to begin as part of ambitious plans to transform the town as part of the £23.9million Town Deal.
"The Council has appointed demolition contractor A.Buckler Ltd to complete the works, which will begin on Monday 17 April. Pre-demolition assessment work will also take place in the days leading up to the start-on-site date.
"The demolition of the building, which has remained an eyesore in the town centre for a number of years, will enable the creation of a new swimming pool which will connect into the existing Pavilion leisure centre.

"Work is currently underway to appoint a contractor for the design and construction works, which are expected to begin later in the year."
The demolition is expected to be complete by the summer.
The existing Thornaby Pool will close once the work is complete to allow for a continued "purpose leisure offering" for the town.
