A man has been arrested and 300 cannabis plants seized after police conducted a raid on a County Durham property.
Specialist officers from Durham Police descended on a house on Clyde Terrace in Spennymoor on Wednesday (May 17) morning.
During the raid, officers carried out a drugs warrant and discovered more than 300 cannabis plants packed into three rooms.

The drugs were estimated to have a street value of £26,000.
The electricity had also been bypassed, posing a serious risk of fire to neighbouring properties.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of producing cannabis.
He was taken into custody where he remains at this time.
