Police have confirmed they have found a body in the search for Jason Cross.
Police have launched an appeal to help find a man who went missing from a North East residential area last weekend.
Northumbria Police are appealing for more information to help find Jason Cross, 34, from Sunderland after he was last seen in the South View Terrace area of Houghton-le-Spring at about 3.30pm on Saturday (May 13).
Police have said he has not been heard from since, and they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

They said searches have been ongoing to locate Jason and ensure his safety and wellbeing.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Jason, 34, was last seen in the South View Terrace area of Houghton-le-Spring at around 3.30pm yesterday (Saturday)."
