A man has been arrested following a report of a suspected attempted burglary of a North East address this week.
A man, 44, has been arrested after an attempted burglary on Carmel Gardens, Guisborough was reported at around 11.30pm on Wednesday (May 10).
He was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and possession of a Class A drug.

He remains in police custody at this time.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "A 44-year-old man has been arrested following a report of an attempted burglary on Carmel Gardens, Guisborough at around 11.30pm on Wednesday evening.
"The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and possession of a Class A drug and remains in police custody at this time."
Any witnesses or anyone with relevant doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage, are urged to contact Redcar CID on 101, quoting reference number 089787.
