A popular deli, bar and restaurant in County Durham that has been hailed as a 'staple of the community' has announced its closure through an emotional online post.
Crinnions, which is on Front Street in Lanchester, has been a constant for many people - having been the local butchers for years, before becoming a deli, bar and restaurant.
Dating back to 1959, the family-run business has prided its name on quality produce, and serving tasty meals to the County Durham community.

However, it has now announced that it would be closing its doors with immediate effect.
Citing a rise in costs, wages and utilities, Crinnions took to social media on Tuesday (May 9) afternoon to bid a farewell to the community it has served over the decades.
In the statement, the venue said: "Due to huge increase in utilities, supplier costs, rise in wages and the current cost of living we have been forced to close our business.
"This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make and it ends a lifetime of hard work and commitment from us both.
"We will be working through the diary to contact all bookings over the next few days.
"We wish to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and we wish you well in the future.
"Love Paul Crinnion and Fiona Wilson."
