A North East golf course has welcomed two Newcastle United stars to its facilities after the pair were pictured testing their nerve on the golf course.
Earlier this month, current Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope and former goalkeeper Shay Given swapped the footbal field for the golf course after arriving at Close House, Heddon-on-the-Wall, on Wednesday, May 3.
Pope, who has enjoyed a great time at St James' Park since arriving from Burnley - with the Magpies currently in third place in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Given made 354 appearances for the Magpies between 1997 and 2009 before going on to feature for Manchester City, Stoke City and Aston Villa.
After appearing at Close House, the golf club put on a message about the visit from the pair - even joking about their golf and football skills.
Taking to social media, Close House said: "It was great to have Newcastle United's Nick Pope and Shay Given at Close House, photo'd here earlier today heading into the Academy to test out their skills on Toptracer.
"Hopefully their golf is as impressive as their goalkeeping!"
