Karen’s Diner is making its way to Middlesbrough this summer, and is also returning to Newcastle.
The viral pop-up experience known for its 'rude waiters and terrible service' will take over Lucky Teds NY Style Pizza at Play Brew Tap Room in Middlesbrough for two days in July as it hosts a number of two-hour bottomless sessions across one weekend.
When inside Karen’s Diner, customers really couldn’t care less about the outside world, from NHS strikes to rising heating bills, or the latest political scandal to ridiculous inflation… the only thing on your mind is surviving.
When returning to the North East, the event promises the “full and authentic Karen experience,” with tickets including bottomless pizza and bottomless prosecco, or selected spirits and mixers, for a whole 90-minute party.

The tour has also teased a longer stay in Teesside, saying if people come in force it will stay for longer, or “until we've insulted everyone in Middlesbrough.”
The Tik-Tok sensation went viral after it posted videos of their staff deliberately being rude to customers walking through the door.
Many other social media users have posted hilarious videos of their experiences at the event, with some event bringing their unbeknownst grandparents along with them, much to their shock.
With an ethos of 'you can complain until the cows come home because they literally don’t care', the event will see Karen's 'rude' waiters welcoming guests and serving up grub throughout each session.
