A luxury cinema chain will open its newest venue in a North Yorkshire market town this month.
Everyman has announced it will be opening its cinema in Northallerton as part of the final phase of the Treadmills destination on Friday (May 19).
The site will be located 100 metres from the town’s High Street.

The cinema will consist of four extensive screens and 274 seats, all fitted with plush velvet sofas and armchairs.
A spokesperson for the brand said the state of the art screens will provide high quality viewings of various blockbuster films, documentaries and live screenings.
They said: “Everyman is proud to announce the launch of its 39th venue located in the market town of Northallerton, as part of the final phase of the exciting new Treadmills destination.
“Everyman promises a redefined cinema experience, and the new Northallerton venue is no exception.

“The cinema will consist of four extensive screens and 274 seats, all fitted with Everyman’s plush velvet sofas and armchairs for ultimate comfort, offering customers a high quality and unique experience.
“Each screen will also present state of the art technology for high quality viewings of a variety of blockbuster films, documentaries and live screenings.”
They also said guests will be able to choose from an extensive food and drink menu, all available to be ordered and served directly to your seat.

The venue offers food such as hand-stretched pizzas, hot honey halloumi, tempura prawns, premium burgers, and a range of vegan dishes.
It will also be operating a full bar, stocked with speciality wine and beer, delicious cocktails, and a range of alcohol-free drinks.
It will also offer desserts such as milkshakes, freshly baked cookie dough and the option to build your own sundae.
