Yarn bombers have come out in force in Darlington with beautiful knitted decorations for King Charles III’s Coronation today.
With the Coronation ceremony well underway and people across the region taking to the high street with houses, shops and streets getting into the spirit of the historic day.
In Darlington, there were Union jacks and flags with the face of the King were hung outside homes and from windows.

In the centre of Durham city, bunting was hanging across streets and in shop windows as the nation prepared to mark the historic occasion.
In Haughton Green in Darlington, Yarn bombers have put on a show with gorgeous decorations dawning bollards and trees.
