A popular bakery chain has announced it will be moving one of its existing stores to a new location on a North East high street.
Cooplands have announced they will be moving their store on High Street in Yarm next door, with the new shop opening on Monday (May 8).
A Cooplands spokesperson said they will be celebrating the opening of the new shop by holding a funday at 11am on Saturday (May 13).

Caroline Jones, Cooplands’ marketing director said they were looking forward to holding the funday and welcoming customers to take part.
She said: “We have been proud to be part of the Yarm community for 14 years now and to celebrate we are holding a Fun Day on Saturday 13th May, with some fun activities, such as face painting and balloon making, and of course our delicious treats to try.”
“We are confident that customers will love our new coffee, so they can come along and try it for free, every Friday….no strings attached!”

The shop will be opening with a fresh new look and design, while "keeping the traditional Cooplands heritage at its heart."
Customers will be able to purchase sweet treats, cream cakes, or bread and rolls fresh from the bakery.
Adding to this, the bakery will have sandwiches, party sausage rolls, coffee offers, and meal deals on offer.

Customers will be able to try Cooplands' new coffee offer for free every Friday, with their “Free Coffee Fridays”, offering customers a free coffee when they visit the shop in Yarm, every Friday.
The new Yarm shop will also be offering a delivery service via Just Eat and Uber Eats.
