Discount retailer The Range has thrown open the doors to its latest store in the region.
The Range lifted the shutters and cut the ribbon on its new Dalton Park Store at 9am on Friday (April 28).
The 25,000sq ft store promises a huge range of stock and boasts its own garden centre and Iceland food department.

The brand has taken over two units at Dalton Park and carried out an extensive renovation including a dedicated outdoor garden centre. It has created 42 new jobs for the local area.
A Range spokesperson said: “This store has been in the pipeline for many months and is expected to hugely increase footfall in this part of the town.
“The store has created over 42 full and part-time jobs providing a fantastic boost to the local economy, both during the build and now it is open.”

The brand first announced plans to open at the County Durham outlet back in January.
Shoppers will be able to get their hands on the huge selection of products from 18 ranges in store. The Range is famous for including home décor, kitchenware, soft furnishings, gardening goods, and cleaning essentials.
The store is located next to Morrisons at Dalton Park.

The opening also brings a host of exclusive offers for the Dalton Park site with a £35 airfryer and 20% off arts and crafts, solar lighting and selected curtains until May 14.
Earlier this year Dalton Park announced sales at the centre were up 14.5% in 2022 compared to before the pandemic.
Crew Clothing, Skechers and Dune all arrived at the centre while Radley, Clarks and Levi’s moved to bigger stores.
