An appeal has been launched after a driver was assaulted and his motorbike stolen on a North East field yesterday.
Cleveland Police are appealing for more information to trace a man who was assaulted and had his motorbike stolen on Roseworth field in Stockton on Wednesday (April 26).
The incident happened beside Roseworth play area off Rochester Road at around 5:10pm.

Police received a report that a male, who had been riding a black motorbike, was approached by another male and assaulted before he was knocked unconscious and his motorbike was stolen.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "A report was made to police that a male, who had been riding a black motorbike, was approached by another male and assaulted before he became unconscious for a few minutes and his motorbike was stolen.
"The incident happened on Roseworth field beside Roseworth play area off Rochester Road around 5:10pm.

"A black car was being driven at speed past the field at the time and another red vehicle was parked nearby, the occupants of which may have seen the incident."
The suspect is described as having short, shaven styled dark hair, of slim build and aged in his twenties, wearing khaki coloured tracksuit bottoms and a black motorbike helmet.
He is believed to have been riding a red and black motorbike, along with another male.

The victim, who is described as having dark hair, around 20 years old and of slim build, stood up and left the scene.
Officers have appealed to the victim to come forward, or any witnesses or anyone with further information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 079152.
