Emergency services were on the scene of a building fire at a North East address this afternoon.
Police and fire services confirmed they were in attendance at a building fire on West Dyke Road in Redcar this afternoon (April 26).
Plumes of smoke could be seen in pictures coming from an address on the street as emergency service vehicles surrounded the area.

Cleveland Police have confirmed the road has been closed due to the ongoing incident.
A Cleveland Fire Brigade (CFB) spokesperson confirmed four applicances attended the scene, while one remained in attendance.
A CFB spokesperson said: "The time of call to the fire brigade was 13:46.
"We had four fire appliances deployed, one from Redcar, Grangetown, Coulby Newham, and Saltburn.
"We still have one fire appliance in attendance.
"We have four breathing apparatus in use by the fire brigade."
They also confirmed one bedroom was "100% damaged by fire," while the whole of upstairs was heavily damaged by heat and smoke.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Due to an ongoing incident, West Dyke Road in Redcar is closed in both directions.
"Emergency services are on scene, thank you for your patience in advance."
They said they received a report of the incident at around 1:50pm and police remain at the scene.
