Vendors appearing at Darlington Food & Drink Festival this weekend

Traders and producers from across the North East will return to Darlington’s popular food festival this bank holiday weekend.

Running from this Friday, April 28, to Bank Holiday Monday, May 1, visitors will have their taste buds tantalised and have access to over 50 different food, drink, and retail vendors.

Popular goodies from fruitcake to fudge, burgers to biscuits, and pancakes to pizza will be on sale throughout the weekend and as well as the live entertainment there will be a glitter face painting station for children looking for a festival makeover.

As well as the pop-up traders based in the Market Square, Horse Market, East Row and Blackwellgate, there will be close to 20 performances throughout the day and evening.

Local bands and artists will be providing an atmosphere for a fantastic food festival with performances in both the market square and market corner stage.

The indoor market will also be open as normal.

The food and drink festival runs from 5pm to 9pm on Friday; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 9pm and 10am to 5pm on Monday.
