Just a day after developers committed to finishing the huge Milburngate site in Durham, a huge name has also backed the project and will be creating sixty jobs.
New World Trading Company has announced that the next location for its award-winning brand The Botanist will be Milburngate, after reaching a lease agreement with the new mixed-use development in the centre of Durham.
Set over two floors, the newly built venue will include a bar area, a dedicated stage for live music, restaurant dining for up to 140 quests and a large outdoor terrace for drinking and dining.
Renowned for its lavish botany-inspired interiors, innovative cocktails, signature hanging kebabs and live music offering, The Botanist will bring an immersive experience to the waterside development, which is in the final stages of construction on the banks of the River Wear.
