A new Indian restaurant is to open soon in Darlington town centre.
Signs have been put up for Zuri Indian Restaurant on Post House Wynd and anticipation is building regarding when the eatery will open.
The establishment is opening on 15 Post House Wynd, next door to The Wynd Café & Bistro and the old Cancer Research charity shop which closed last month.
On the business’ Facebook page, the cuisine is described as “uniting the Bangladeshi food culture into our Indian dishes to present a new experience.”

Darlington is well-known for its vast array of Indian restaurants, such as Babul’s, Akbar The Great, Café Spice and Masala Art, but the appetite and enthusiasm of Darlingtonians for South Asian cuisine doesn’t appear to be decreasing any time soon.
