A North East road will close this evening for five nights after council officials in order to carry out road improvements
Middlesbrough’s Ladgate Lane will be closed for five evenings from today (April 24) while road improvements and alterations take place.
The section affected is the stretch from Marton Road crossroads to Alan Peacock Way, opposite Stewart Park, with work carried out from 7pm until midnight from Monday, April 24 to Friday, April 28.
The work is being carried out in the evenings in order to minimise disruption and traffic diversions will be in place and fully signed while regular users of the route will have noticed signs informing them of the forthcoming works.
