One person has been taken to hospital after a car rolled over on a busy North East road.
One person has been taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A19 Northbound in Washington this evening (April 19).
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) have confirmed they received a report of the collision, in which a car had rolled over, at 6:27pm.

An NEAS spokesperson said the service deployed a clinical team leader, a Hazardous Area Response Team and an emergency ambulance crew to the scene.
They said: "We received a call at 18:27 to reports of a road traffic incident on the A19 north in Washington in which a car had rolled over.
"We sent a clinical team leader, a Hazardous Area Response Team and an emergency ambulance crew to the scene and took one patient with minor injuries to Sunderland Royal Hospital."
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: ”Shortly before 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) police received a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A19 northbound near to the junction with Hylton Bridge in Sunderland.
“Emergency services attended the scene where the road was blocked. Thankfully, no life-threatening injuries were reported.
“The road was re-opened at around 8.35pm.”

AA traffic maps reported the road was closed due to a three-vehicle crash on the A19 Northbound from A183 to A1231 Sunderland Highway.
The incident caused queuing traffic and long delays on the A19 Northbound in Washington.
