Three people have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on a busy Darlington road.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) has confirmed three people have been taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital after a crash on the A167 Northgate in Darlington today (April 19).
The Northern Echo's reporter at the scene reported the crash was between a car and bus.

The ambulance service received a report of the crash, which took place outside Kaspa's Desserts, at just before 4.20pm.
An NEAS spokesperson said three ambulance crews were sent to the scene, before three people were sent to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson said: "We received a call this afternoon to reports of a road traffic incident outside Kaspas on Northgate in Darlington.
"We sent three ambulance crews and took three patients to Darlington Memorial Hospital for further treatment."

Images of the scene showed serious damage done to the front of the car and back of the bus.
Police vehicles were also present at the scene.
The Northern Echo has contacted Durham Police for more information on the incident.
