Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne made a vulgar confession during last night's Channel 4 reality series Scared Of The Dark at 9pm.
The network has been facing criticism for airing increasingly sensationalist and crude material, and Gascoigne's confession is unlikely to quell those concerns.
The programme featured Gascoigne reveal a dirty secret about his visit to Downing Street in October 1990, where he and the England squad were invited to meet then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The former footballer recounts how he became aroused after meeting Thatcher and went to the toilet afterwards to perform a sex act on himself.
Gascoigne also shares explicit details of how he claims Thatcher left him in an aroused state.
The confession incensed participant Chris Eubank, who went to a private room to share his thoughts with the producers, calling the story "muck."
Alongside Gascoigne, Scared Of The Dark features other well-known figures including Scarlett Moffatt, Nicola Adams, Danny Dyer, and Max George.
