Former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle is set to headline one of the days of the annual Durham Pride Celebration, taking place on the last weekend in May.
Coyle, who rose to fame in the noughties girl band is set to headline the main stage in Durham’s The Sands field on May 28, singing solo hits and Girls Aloud classics.

The band sold over 4.3 million records while active, hitting number one on the charts in the UK four times making Nadine’s appearance in Durham one that should not be missed.
Durham Pride wrote on social media: “Headlining Durham Pride 2023 for the tenth year of the event is an absolute icon.
“Durham Pride is proud to announce Nadine Coyle will be live on the Main Stage on Sunday 28 May.”
Coyle, who is well known for headlining Pride events across the UK, is said to bring an: “unforgettable performance to each stage with her iconic powerhouse vocals.”

Other pride events across the week beginning May 22 will see The Gala Theatre host a free art exhibition themed ‘Pride Past, Present and Future’, alongside a Pride afterparty at Bohemia following Nadine Coyle’s performance on the 28 May.
Those celebrating can also attend Durham Cricket Club’s T20 fundraising game on May 29, offering discounted entry to main ticket holders.
