A Middlesbrough man has been arrested after a sizeable cannabis farm was seized by cops on April 13.
Police raided the property located on Costa Street, seizing the farm that is estimated to be worth up to £30,000.
Officers then arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, who has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

Sergeant John Sproson said: “This farm was smaller than others that we have seized, but we will always respond to reports of cannabis farms due to the fire risk posed by the electricity supplies being tampered with and the possibility of criminal exploitation to others.

“Anyone who has information regarding drugs activity is asked to contact us on 101 so that action can be taken.
