A 31-year-old man was arrested following a crash in County Durham last weekend, and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened around 2:30pm on Sunday, April 9 and when a silver BMW crashed next to a roundabout on the A693.
The man who was arrested was taken into custody and was released whilst enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police are appealing for information following the incident at around 2.30pm on Sunday, April 9, when a silver BMW car crashed next to Beamish roundabout on the A693.

“Thankfully no one was seriously hurt but the road was closed for several hours.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of, among other offences, dangerous driving.
“He was taken into custody and has since been bailed whilst enquiries are ongoing.
