A pork pie factory appeared on hit BBC show Inside the Factory on Tuesday (April 11) night, almost seven months after closing down.
The Vale of Mowbray pork pie factory in Leeming Bar was the subject of the Gregg Wallace show on Tuesday taking viewers behind the scenes where the famous pastries were made since 1928.
But eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the factory closed in September 2022 bringing the loss of 200 jobs.

It came just months after a major £4m expansion into a new scotch egg production line.
The factory closed its doors in late September when administrators were called in after almost a century of pie making.
At the time administrators said the business, which was opened as a brewery in 1795, had experienced “significant financial challenges” in recent years due to rising raw material input prices, increasing energy costs and sector-wide recruitment challenges.

The Echo revealed in January that the factory had been sold, sparking hopes that food production could return to the site.
Administrators FRP said that they had secured a buyer for both Vale of Mowbray factories on the Leeming Bar site, near Bedale - and a buyer had also been found for the pork pie and scotch egg production machinery.
