Greggs has opened a new drive-thru shop on Tuesday (April 11), creating 20 new jobs in the region.
The shop, located at South Bank, Middlesbrough, will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites for the on-the-go pasty fan, as well as hot items like potato wedges and chicken goujons.
This new opening will add to the sausage-roll-baking agglomerate's 2,300 shops nationwide, which employ over 28,000 people.

A spokesperson for the bakery brand said: "The South Bank Middlesbrough drive thru shop opens with a fresh new look and comfortable seating. The shop is open daily from 6 am – 9.30 pm."
Shop Manager Courtney Russell said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new drive thru in South Bank Middlesbrough has brought 20 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”
The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs favourite hot items such as Southern Fried Chicken Goujons and Potato Wedges.
