A charity tattoo ‘flash’ has been held at studios in Darlington to help an artistic well-being group in the town.
House Of Horrors and Eighty Sixx Tattoo Co. staged the event in aid of Darlington Wellbeing The Art Of Survival on Good Friday.
A quarter of the money customers who came in for a ‘ready to wear’ tattoo from a template is going towards helping to pay the group’s rent at Darlington Hippodrome.

Tattoo artist and co-owner of the studios Gemma Horrors said she wanted help group founder Kenneth Longstaff who took up art after the rare nervous condition, Guillain-Barré syndrome, left him using a wheelchair.
Gemma said: “The group has members from all walks of life, most of them depending on the group for social interaction and support for their own mental health problems.
“The group has built a community that is a lifeline for some of its members and the financial problems are something that could leave the members without a safe place to go.
“The Hippodrome provides great access for wheelchair users which is why the particular venue is so important to them.
