Motorists are being made aware of overnight closures planned on part of the A66 later this month.
The major route between Middlesbrough and Darlington will be closed for five nights while improvement and resurfacing works are carried out.
The work will take place on the eastbound carriageway from the boundary of Stockton to the A19 exit slip road.

It will begin on Monday, April 17 and work will then take place on Tuesday, April 18, Thursday, April 20, Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.
Work will be paused on the Wednesday (April 19) due to Middlesbrough’s tie at the Riverside against Hull City.

The closures will take place overnight from 9pm until 6am with diversions in place.
A Middlesbrough Council spokesperson said: “The closures are due to road resurfacing and restructuring and have been scheduled through the evening in order to minimise disruption.”
