An investigation has been launched after several reports were made regarding a North East house being covered in lewd graffiti.
Northumbria Police have confirmed they are investigating after getting several complaints of an address in Hendon, Sunderland being covered in graffiti.
They confirmed the graffiti, which depicted crass imagery, had since been removed from the house on Canon Cockin Street.
Meanwhile, police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them to help with their enquiries.

In a statement, a Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "We can confirm an investigation was launched after police received several reports of graffiti daubed on an address on Canon Cockin Street in Hendon, Sunderland.
“The graffiti has since been removed and enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible."
Adding to this, Sunderland City Council (SCC) confirmed the graffiti had been removed from the building.
They said the council removes graffiti and flyposting from buildings and other properties in instances like this.
Speaking on the case, they said: "The City Council does remove graffiti and flyposting from buildings and other properties where appropriate.
"Graffiti at a property in Canon Cockin Street has been removed."

In an image shared online, the door, windows and outside walls could be seen defaced with images of smiling faces and indecent images.
