Five people have been arrested after police launched a drug raid in broad daylight.
Two men and three women were all arrested in connection with suspected class A drug offences after officers stormed a property on Friday (March 31) afternoon.
A quantity of drugs, believed to be class A, were recovered during the raid on Midville Walk, Netherfields in Middlesbrough as officers executed a warrant.

All five were arrested in connection with possession with intent to supply class A drugs. They have all been bailed while police investigate.
A spokesperson for Middlesbrough’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Officers are working closely with Middlesbrough Council and local housing providers to take positive action against anyone believed to be involved.
