An appeal has been launched to find a man wanted in connection with an alleged assault in a North East town centre and burglary on a residential street.
Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police (HNP) are searching for Connor McLeod, 25, in relation to two incidents which took place in Hartlepool on Tuesday (March 28).
The two incidents involved an unprovoked assault in Hartlepool town centre, and an aggravated burglary on Howden Road.

Police have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in in connection with the incidents.
In a statement, a HNP spokesperson said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as officers try to locate Hartlepool man Connor McLeod (25).
"Hartlepool CID would like to speak to him as he may have information on offences reported to police - including an unprovoked assault on a man in Hartlepool town centre, and an aggravated burglary in Howden Road on 28th March this year.

"A number of people were arrested in connection with these incidents, with enquiries ongoing.
"We would urge Mr McLeod to make contact with police and would ask anyone who knows his current whereabouts to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref SE23-057851."
