A man snatched a necklace from a woman’s neck in Middlesbrough town centre before running away.
Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to help with their enquiries.
The incident happened on Sunday, February 12 at 3:15am outside Cineworld on Marton Road.
The suspect is described as in his early twenties, slim build, 5ft 5’’ tall, and with a mixed accent.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Officers are appealing to identify a man after a report of robbery in Middlesbrough.
“The incident happened around 3:15am on Sunday, February 12 outside Cineworld on Marton Road.
“A man approached a woman from behind and snatched a necklace from around her neck, before making off on foot.
“Detectives would like to trace the man in the image as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

“The suspect is described as aged in his early twenties, 5ft 5” tall, slim build with a mixed accent.
“Anyone with information regarding the man’s identity is asked to contact Detective Constable John Saunders on 101, quoting incident number 027510.”
