The first pictures have emerged from the scene of a flat fire in a North East residential area attended by a large number of emergency service vehicles today (March 28).
Cleveland Fire Brigade (CFB) were called to Lansdowne Road, in Middlesbrough, after receiving reports of a flat fire at around 5.20pm.
A spokesperson for Middlesbrough Community Fire Station said seven appliances had responded to the incident at a flat on the street.
Pictures from the scene showed a large emergency service presence on the street surrounding the scene of the blaze.

Later on, a CFB spokesperson confirmed there had been no injuries as a result of the incident and that the fire had been quickly extinguished.
In a statement, a CFB spokesperson said: "There is a large emergency service presence at Lansdowne Road in Middlesbrough following a fire.
"No fatalities were involved and the fire has now been extinguished due to the swift actions of our crews."
An NEAS spokesperson said: "We were called to 5.30pm this evening to reports of a fire in Lansdowne Road in Middlesbrough.
"We dispatched one crew from our Hazardous Area Response Team, a clinical team leader and an ambulance crew, but were stood down on scene by the fire service."
