Residents have been left furious after a "bin-load" of dog poo was left strewn across a County Durham town's pathway.
Many Seaham residents were left furious and disgusted after a picture emerged online last month (March 15) showing the path, located near Seaham Golf Course, littered with bags full of dog muck.
One resident questioned who would do this and said it looked like someone had emptied a "bin-load onto the path."
In the image, more than a dozen bags of waste could be seen dumped in the middle of the path, with some have been burst and smeared on the ground.

A Durham County Council spokesperson confirmed around 15 bags of dog waste were removed from the path during one of their regular cleansing runs last month.
Speaking on the issue of dog fouling in the area, Belinda Snow, Durham County Council’s neighbourhood warden manager, urged people to report any instances of this to the council.
She said: “We know dog fouling is an issue people feel strongly about and we encourage all dog walkers to take responsibility for their pets’ waste.
"That means either disposing of it in the multi-use bins provided across the county or, if it’s an inaccessible area that doesn’t have bins, taking it home to dispose of it.

“We are increasing signage in this area and would also urge people to report incidents to us so we can take action.
"The main details that help us are the names or descriptions of the offenders and their dogs, the type of dog or dogs involved, and the location and time of day the offending typically takes place.”
Meanwhile, other residents reacted online to the image, condemning the act and branding it a "disgrace."

One bewildered resident said: "I hate this, if you are bothered to bag it then bloody bin it, we have two dogs and could never do this.
Another concerned resident said: "So sad. We should all be proud of our town. A small minority who spoil it."
