Greggs fans have been left delighted after a new store rolled into town this week creating a dozen new jobs.
The popular chain opened the doors to its new branch today (March 17) on Spennymoor Festival Walk.
A Greggs spokesperson said the store will be opening with a fresh new look and boasts comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.
The opening hours for the bakery are Monday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm, and 8am to 5pm on Sunday.

Speaking on the opening, shop manager Claire Wright said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.
"We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”
Adding to this, Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Spennymoor Festival Walk has brought 12 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”
The shop will sport the brand's favourites such as their much-loved sausage rolls, steak bake and vegan alternatives.
A Greggs spokesperson said customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its breakfast combinations, offering a breakfast roll or baguette alongside an orange juice or hot drink - served until 11am every day.

Among the hot drinks offered by the brand, staples such as the flat white and peppermint tea will also be available.
The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs favourite hot items such as Southern Fried Chicken Goujons and Potato Wedges.
