A crash this morning involving two vehicles and two pedestrians caused traffic delays and a road closure on one of the busiest roads out of Darlington.
The crash happened just after 6:30am on Haughton Road, with police seen near Bannytyne’s Health Club.
The collision involved a Ford Fiesta, a Peugeot van, and two pedestrians.

A spokesperson for Durham Police said: “We were called to reports of a collision in Haughton Road, Darlington, just after 6.30am this morning (March 15).

“The incident involved a Ford Fiesta car, a Peugeot van and two pedestrians.
“No one was believed to have been seriously injured.
“The road was cleared just after 8.30am.”
