Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in an alleged stabbing that has seen another man charged with attempted murder.
The incident happened around 4.10am on Monday, March 6 at the junction of Granville Road and Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough when the victim is believed to have been followed, stabbed with a weapon and had his wallet stolen.

The man remains in James Cook University Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition and has potentially life changing injuries.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 8.
A 17-year-old male has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in police custody at this time.
Officers believe there were a number of people in the area around the time of the incident and would appeal for them to make contact with Detective Sergeant Lorna Atkinson on 101, quoting reference number SE23042648.
