A new pasta shop is opening in Darlington town centre, and it will be open 12 hours a day.
Casa Della Pasta will be opening on Skinnergate “very soon,” but the exact day of opening is not yet known.
The eatery will be selling a variety of pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, and coffee, and will be open from 10am until 10pm.
The building where the business is based is on the site once occupied by Barnacles fish and chip shop, next to Savers.

George Terpo, manager of Casa Della Pasta said: “We’re opening very soon and excited for people to try our food.
“We’ll be doing takeaway pasta and we’ll be open from 10 in the morning until 10 at night. Our main product will be pasta and we’ll be doing three kinds of pasta; tricolore, penne and spaghetti. We’ll have vegetarian options as well, and also loaded fries.
“We’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready to open.
“We wanted to do pasta because it’s something different and we think people will love our food.”

Lactose-free and gluten-free pasta dishes will also be available on request.
The new pasta business is sure to be a hit with workers and students in the town on lunchtimes.
Perhaps a rival to The Pasta Shop on Woodland Road, there’s sure to be enough pasta to go around for the Italian food-lovers of the town.
