International Women’s Day returns this week, and The Northern Echo is celebrating women from our region who have done incredible things.
From sport, politics, crime, and entertainment, these women are making strides in their careers, any many of whom have conquered obstacles to fight to be heard.
The Northern Echo has comprised a list of many, but not all, the women in our region doing extraordinary things.
