Denise Welch became a grandmother for the first time two days ago, as her stepson Lewis and his wife Elizabeth welcomed a baby boy.
Denise, who is married to painter Lincoln Townley, revealed the news on Friday's episode of Loose Women.
Host Charlene White announced the news to the audience, who cheered in congratulations.
Denise was previously married to actor Tim Healy between 1988 and 2012.
The couple had two sons, Matt Healy and Louis Vincent.
Lewis Townley and his wife Elizabeth confirmed they were expecting their first child in September, with Denise sharing the news with Instagram followers, reposting a 12-week ultrasound scan of the unborn child.
The baby was expected to arrive on March 22, and Denise announced the arrival of her first grandchild on Friday.
In celebration of the new arrival, Denise decided to call her husband 'Grompa' in the North East dialect.
Fans of the show have been wishing the family congratulations on social media, and offering their best wishes for the new arrival.
