County Durham is full of brilliant and wonderful pubs - all serving the best and most unique beers, ciders and other drinks.
From pub to pub, you find different elements that are people's favourites, including cosy fires, pool tables, great beers, and incredible food.
However, the three best County Durham COUNTRY pubs have now been revealed as part of the CAMRA Durham 2023 pubs list.
As part of the list, CAMRA, which is responsible for promoting real ale, cider and perry across the UK, has put together the best of the best when it comes to venues situated in the towns of County Durham.
Here are the three best that County Durham has to offer:
- 1ST - Surtees Arms in Ferryhill Station
- 2ND - Beamish Mary Inn
- 3RD - Three Horseshoes Leamside
CAMRA’s national chairman Nik Antona said: "The last few years have been an incredibly difficult time for the industry and we need more support than ever before to keep our nation’s pubs open and thriving.
"I’d encourage everyone to use this year’s guide to visit the very best pubs across the UK and support them for generations to come.”
