Morrisons has launched a two-course set menu in all of its cafes so customers can get their hands on a main, hot dessert and a drink for £8.99.
Main courses such as lasagne, fish and chips and a roast dinner with all the trimmings are all included in the deal.
Customers can add a drink and a Bramley apple crumble or a sticky toffee pudding for less than £10.
The two-course deal is available now in all of the supermarket’s cafes until April 2.
It comes as customers praised the value of the Christmas set menu and asked if a similar deal could be put in place outside the festive season.
The Kids Eat Free offer which allows customers to get a free kids meal with every adult meal costing £4.49 or more can be claimed alongside the new £8.99 deal.
Kids can choose from the all-day breakfast menu and the main menu which includes fish fingers and chips or chicken nuggets, chips and peas.
All items from the children’s menu are served with a piece of fruit and a drink.
Morrisons is continuing to reduce prices across its stores and has cut thousands of products this year alone.
Chris Strong, Morrisons Café buyer, said: “Our customers told us how much they appreciated the great value of our set menu at Christmas and asked us if we could bring it back at other times of the year.
“We’re pleased to be doing just that and offering a great value two course meal for just £8.99 - plus a drink! As it can be used alongside our Kids Eat Free offer it means the whole family can benefit.”
Your Money Matters
Your Money Matters is a campaign launched by us and our sister titles across Newsquest to help you overcome the surge in the cost of living. This year has seen a whole host of household price increases — from the energy price cap rise to surging inflation and food prices — costing your family hundreds or even thousands of pounds extra per year.
We’re making it our mission to look out for your cash, offering money-saving deals, competitions, giveaways and insightful stories from your community on the impact this cost-of-living crisis is having on our readers.
The worldwide energy crisis exacerbated by the Ukraine invasion, the financial impact of the Covid pandemic, record inflation figures and a surge in the cost of goods, fuel and travel means we will all feel the pinch.
Through our newspaper, we want to do what we can to help make your cash go further because we know your money matters.
