For any pie lovers out there, your favourite week of the year is upon us as this week, the UK celebrates ‘National Pie Week’.

From today (March 6) until Sunday (March 12), people are encouraged to honour everything about the British pie – whether it’s your favourite filling, what makes the perfect shortcrust pastry or deciding how much gravy is too much gravy.

If you fancy indulging in a pie throughout the ‘Christmas week of pie world’, we have put together a selection of places across the North East according to their Tripadvisor reviews.

Each location has a minimum of a 4.0 rating.
