A North East bakery has been slammed with a zero food hygiene score requiring “urgent improvement.”
Yasmin’s Bakery found on Parliament Road in Middlesbrough, was inspected on January 25 this year and slapped with a zero food hygiene score.
The venue was picked up on its food handling hygiene, such as the preparation, cooking, reheating, cooling and storage of food.

Inspectors felt that this area of the venue needed major improvement.
Urgent improvement has also been required of food safety checks at the business.
This includes systems or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that the standards will be maintained in the future.
