A crash in Sedgefield has resulted in traffic delays this morning.
Traffic was building up due to the crash on the A689 at A177, near Sands Hall Roundabout.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just after 7:15am and police arrived on the scene shortly afterwards, and involved a Mercedes Benz and a Lexus UX.
Fortunately, the drivers arranged recovery for the vehicles.

A spokesperson for Durham Police said: “We were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Sedgefield just after 7.15am this morning.
“The incident involved a Mercedes Benz and a Lexus UX.
“No one is believed to have been seriously injured and the drivers arranged recovery for their vehicles.”
