North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have revealed dates for "live fire" training exercises in March - so you might spot them lighting fires rather than extinguishing them!
Over the coming weeks, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (NYFRS) is due to set 12 "live fires" at their training centre on Oaklands Way, in Easingwold.
The fires are being set for training exercises, which are done regularly, and ensure that firefighters have all the knowledge and experience necessary to extinguish fires safely and effectively.
NYFRS has advised residents that live nearby the training ground to take precautions whilst training is underway - suggesting that people "refrain from hanging washing out", and "avoid sitting in their gardens."

A spokesperson from NYFRS said: "Regular training is essential to our firefighters being able to rescue people safely from fires, to be able to contain and extinguish live fires quickly and effectively.
"To do this, there are occasions, when we have to use live fires. Whilst we try to keep these to a minimum to avoid inconvenience to local residents, live fire is essential in the training of our staff and the communities we protect.
"We hope that by publishing the burning for March dates in advance, it will allow you time to plan and if needed, make alternative arrangements.
"Depending on the wind direction and weather conditions, we would recommend on these dates, local residents keep windows closed, refrain from hanging washing out, and avoid sitting in their gardens."
