Police have released an image of a man they want to talk to after the theft of a designer scarf from a Harrogate restaurant on Valentine's Day.

CCTV footage shows a couple in the restaurant finding a pink, red and gold floral Alexander McQueen scarf under their table. A man then picks up the scarf, folds it, and puts it in his pocket.

North Yorkshire Police have put out the appeal and want to talk to the man in the picture after the incident at the restaurant on Cold Bath Road in Harrogate at 6.50pm on Wednesday 14 February 2023.

Officers believe the man in the picture may have important information that could assist the investigation.
