Three men have been arrested after reports of a kidnapping and assault on a woman in her 20s.
Armed police from Cleveland Police were spotted on Station Road in Redcar at around 3.30pm on Sunday (February 26) - with officers seen crow-barring open a gate and knocking a door through.

Images of the armed officers and police detaining a man have since been shared online - with residents sharing their 'worry' and 'concern' at why police were on Station Road.
After causing a little concern around Redcar on Sunday afternoon, Cleveland Police have now confirmed that three men have been arrested after receiving a third-party report of a kidnap/false imprisonment and assault on a woman in her 20s the day before.
Three men (31, 41 and 48) were arrested in connection with the report and they have been bailed while enquiries continue.
