A man has been arrested by armed people after they stormed a North East street on Sunday (February 26) after causing alarm to residents.
The specialist police team from Cleveland Police were seen around Redcar at around 3.30pm - with two police cars spotted driving around various streets.
After residents first noticed them, armed officers were then seen detaining a man from a property on Station Road in Redcar.
Images of the armed officers and police detaining the man have since been shared online - with residents sharing hir 'worry' and 'concern' at why police were on Station Road.
It's not yet known why the armed officers were in Redcar.
Cleveland Police have been contacted for a comment.
