Two County Durham secondary schools have been named two of the best in the region after a list was published online from newspaper The Times.
The Parent Power table has ranked schools on their average performance using A-Level, GCSE and International Baccalaureate results from summer 2022.
While some of the list features Hexham and Morpeth schools, there is a strong showing for County Durham, Stockton, and Sunderland - which places Durham Johnston Comprehensive School as the top place and St Leonard’s RC School, Durham in second.
